Ch 18 A Long Way Gone A Reunited Family
I named Ch 18 Of a Long Way Gone A Reunited Family because in the Chapter Ishmael Finally Meets his uncle and finds out about his family. He also meets Mohamed and becomes his friend. Ishmael has already been Rehabilitated and is ready to return to normal society.Wednesday, January 13, 2010
Ch 19 A Long Way Gone Questions
•1. Ishmael had to return to normal society so he was sent to live with his uncle.
•2. I think the two weeks felt longer than the eight months because he spent most of that time with his uncle.
•3. Sometimes I feel like school id so long.
•4. Ishmael survived the war because he used his wilderness instincts and killed to survive.
•5. I would want to survive but also let someone else from my family survive.
•6. In his plastic bag Ishmael packed: pair of sneakers, four T-Shirts, three shorts, tooth paste, tooth brush, Vaseline lotion, a walkman with cassettes, two long sleeved shirts, two pairs of pants, and a tie.
•7. I think Mambu’s family didn’t took him because of the war and also in chapter 15 he had anger problems.

•9. When I was sent here I never saw any of my old friends, but also never said good bye.

•2. Esther always hugged Ishmael every time he was upset. She also wanted to pretend to be his sister.
•3. Abigail was a girl that went with Ishmael to school.
•4. The visitors were the UN, the UNICEF, and the Ngo's.
•5. Ishmael didn’t talk about if he was nervous.
•6. Esther thought that Ishmael should sing Reggae songs.
•7. Mr. Kamara told Ishmael that the Visitors were impressed and knew they could Rehabilitate, and asked him to be the spokesmen for the center.
•8. Ishmael would talk about how child soldering is wrong and that all of them can be Rehabilitated.

I named Ch 17 of A Long Way Gone The Memories of war because in this chapter it shows us memories of what Ishmael experienced during his war years including a near death experience. in the chapter Ishmael also makes some new friends.
