I named Ch 5 of a long way gone captured because they try to go to Mattru Jong, but got Captured by the Rebels. He was gonna get Shot, but a Solder shto and he escaped death again.

ReplyDelete1. He was very hungry he started to get cramps, didn’t ate enough, and nearly starved.
2. They were getting irritable because they haven't ate and they sat apart from each other.

4. Since the Main Character was getting hungry they wanted food so when they saw a boy eating corn they jumped him and stole his food.
5. When the Boy ran to his mom she thought that they would only do that if they were desperately hungry and gave them some food. I would be angry if someone did that to someone I care about.
6. They went to Mattru Jong to get Food, but a Rebel caught them and they listened to them. I would listen to them to not die.
7. I think Some Rebels are about there age and there attitude was mean because they intimidated people. They also laughed at people suffering.
8. The Rebels shot the Old Man trying to Escape.
9. in Sierra Leone Children are more Respectful of there elders like in China or other Asian Countries.
10. The Rebels want to use strong Children to fight for them and the ones who were scared didn’t got picked.
11. The new Recruits were ordered by the Rebels to kill other people who weren't chosen.
12. people were about to get shot, but then someone shot the Rebels and they got the Opportunity to Escape.
13. I think they didn’t talk till Dawn because they were afraid that the Rebels would hear them or that if they ran and talked they would run out of Air.
14. I think they would either stop going to Mattru Jong or they would be more careful going there.
